Balally Family Resource Centre

Balally Family Resource Centre was established in 1994 and is managed by a Voluntary Board of Directors.  We are a committed and motivated group of local people who are giving our time and energy to ensure that our community can avail of vital supports in an accessible building.  Having supported local children, families and individuals in the local community for 29 years, our wish is to continue the work that is so embedded in the community that we serve.

There are now 121 Family Resource Centre’s nationally, and the Family Resource Centre Programme is within the remit of TUSLA, who fund staffing and some overhead costs.  The ethos of our work is ‘Cradle to Grave’ and is embedded in Community Development principles, whereby active participation, inclusion, integrity, respect are the values from which we operate.

We offer a drop in service. All enquiries are treated in confidence. We work with Parents, Youth, Older Persons, Unemployed, Early School Leavers, Persons with Disabilities, Stay at Home Parents, Minority, Disadvantaged & Marginalised Groups, Single Persons, and One Parent Families, People experiencing Domestic Abuse and anyone else in the community that need our services.  We help people access information, services, and education.
