CyberSafeKids
CyberSafeKids is an Irish charity established in 2015. Our mission is to make the online world safer for children and children safer online. We do this through education, giving voice to children’s online experience and by being a fierce advocate for children’s online safety. We equip children, and those with a duty of care for them, with the skills needed to navigate the online world in a safe and responsible manner, while making the case for stronger regulation and investment in digital literacy by Government.
Our vision is a world in which children can safely use technology in a positive and effective way. We want all children in Ireland to be digitally literate from the age of 6 and equipped to make safe and smart choices online. We envisage a different world for children in ten years’ time with better education in schools, awareness-raising campaigns for parents and stronger regulation.
Our services are open to all groups – everyone is welcome to attend
