Hillview Family Resource Centre

We are one of 121 nationwide Family Resource Centres.  Our service is underpinned by the principles of community development, focusing currently on increasing our capacity to deliver services for children, young people and families with targeted programmes for the older local population.  After conducting local neighbourhood meetings and undertaking a Needs Analysis in 2021-22 we identified local needed and requested programmes, of which we are rolling out.

Hillview FRC operates two preschool, a pre-ECCE & an ECCE preschool.  We hope to start the first Hillview FRC PEEP+DLR programme in partnership with Lorraine Steward, Southside Partnership in September 2023.  Our Dundrum ITB courses reconvene in September 2023. Hillview was in receipt of additional therapeutic funding making it possible to expand the Play Therapy and Psychotherapy clinics.  Hillview works closely with the National FRC Forum to align our work with the Forum’s early intervention and prevention programme.
