Rosemount Family Resource Centre guiding principles adhere to the community development ethos, that emphasis working from a grassroots perspective. Using the model of collective activism, Rosemount FRC encourages people to come together and work for change in their own community. We endeavour to work with people as opposed to for people by building on relationships with the community. Adhering to the ethos of community development Rosemount Family Resource Centre provides supports for families and children through a range of services. This is achieved by providing information referrals to local services and a range of courses enabling community members to upskill and socialise. Rosemount FRC continues to develop its early intervention supports which will target a number of areas relevant to child development, such as parenting , social inclusion, child health, child behaviour and children’s learning
