Ukrainian and International Protection Applicant Response Team

Our team provides a range of supports to families who live or stay in our county from Ukraine or those seeking International Protection. Supports include, one to one, support in families accessing education, access to English classes, childcare, employment and health and wellbeing services, we can also introduce to a range of local community groups and health and wellbeing activities to support positive integration. We use our connections with other services and community groups to refer families into appropriate services and we have access to translators when needed.

We support all families, children and parents of all ages, our aim is to meet people where they are at, and sign post them into services and appropriate supports.

Out team welcomes everyone living and staying in the DLR county and we will work with you and your family to secure essential services and supports.

Services we can put you in touch with: We can connect you with Baby & Toddler Groups, Counselling and Therapy, Early Learning & Care, Family Support, Healthy Eating Advice, Help with School/Education, Parenting Information, Parenting Training, Play Therapy, Sibling Supports, Sports Activities, Yoga/Massage, and Youth Groups. We also signpost to services that will help you with whatever issues you might be dealing with.

Do you have Group or One-to-One supports Both, we are available to meet people on a one to one but we also meet groups and run a range of community education programmes such as employment workshops, yoga and summer programmes for children and young people.
